6 report • industry-oriented education biznes meble.pl | international edition 2/2019 I n the latest forecast of the demand for employees on the Polish labour mar- ket that was published in March this year by the PolishMinistry of National Ed- ucation (MEN), there is not a single pro- fession closely related to the furniture in- dustry. The Polish Ministry of Education indicates 20 occupations for which, due to the importance for the development of the state, there is forecasted a special de- mand for employees on the Polish labour market. That forecast substantiates an in- crease in the share of education subsidies between individual territorial units for 2020 and an increase in the amount of co- financing a juvenile employee. These are such professions as an automation spe- cialist, electromechanical engineer, elec- tronical engineer, electrician, driver me- chanic, mechanic/fitter of machines and Qualified staff remains a pressing problem of the education system in Poland. Entrepreneurs are becoming more and more involved in the development of industry education by declaring help in organizing student internships, substantive as well as financial support – everything in black and white, without hot potato situation.
